Tonight at 7:15 PM, a female was working the third floor at 6928 North Wayne. According to the called, her male/white pimp and the prostitute were knocking on doors and asking if tenants wanted service.
This is not surprising. My late sister lived in a building near Jarvis where a guy regularly pimped his wife out to customers. My sister spotted her getting in and out of various men's cars for a long time until she figured out what was going on. Even worse, the woman's husband was a guy we had gone to grade school with.
In decades of living in Chicago I have yet to see a good looking street hooker. At least a real one. One time I saw some real hot looking ones and as I guessed it was a police sting. Sat down at a bar across the street(Buena and Broadway) and watched the amusing police action. Ah, summer.
Years ago for a very very short time I lived on Seminary STreet. The house was upstais of us. The johns were always knocking on our door. I complained to the landlord who told me his day didnt begin and end at my apartment. I told him mine did and I went to court on my own. I had to pay the sheriff $75 to serves the landlord. Ha! I got my secruity deposit back and was allowed to break the lease. If landlords don't want to maintain their property then take them to court. Yes.....it took some time but worth every penny....and then some!
