* New Catch Phrase Word - "Change"

Iowa's over, wasn't that fun? No one got hurt by Chuck Norris. For the next five weeks or so, if you're a Democrat, get ready for the newest catch phrase word from all the candidates in the run for President of the United States. "Change!" And we're not talking about the coins in your pocket. Does anyone want to keep a running total how many time each of the candidates (Clinton/Edwards/Obama) says the word "Change?"

Iowa Caucuses:

Obama, Barack - 38%
Edwards, John - 30%
Clinton, Hillary - 29%
Richardson, Bill - 2%
Biden, Joe - 1% (Dropped out of race after loss.)

For all my new Republican readers, good news for the Christians, it's Preacher Mike. Mike Huckabee wins with 34% over Mitt Romney at 25%. McCain third - and the TV actor on Law and Order was fourth. I'm told Chuck Norris roundhouse-kicked his way around Iowa, forcing caucus voters to stand up for Huckabee. He wanted to round-house kick that actor from Law and Order, because Chuck Norris is Law and Order. Contrary to popular belief, America is not a democracy, it is a Chucktatorship. Sorry for the bad Chuck Norris jokes. I couldn't help it after seeing Chuck Norris standing behind Huckabee. I hope I don't get a roundhouse-kick upside the head from Chuck Norris for this blog. This is you're "Broken Heart' election ticker signing off.

It didn't take long for the DFA to come hunting for my money. lol.

Dear Craig,

Yeeeeaaaahhhhhhh!!!! You did it!

The DFA Unite for a Progressive President Campaign was a huge success and helped propel Senators Obama and Edwards to first and second place victories in Iowa.

A year ago, the pundits and beltway Democrats said this race was a forgone conclusion. Over the last two months, you made it a dead heat on the ground in Iowa.

Tonight: Progressives Won!

The nomination is far from over. New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina are coming up fast. And, Super Tuesday could decide the nomination.

With your help, we will continue to make history. You did it in Iowa. Let's do it again across the nation. Contribute $15 right now and support our campaign for a progressive president.

Four years ago, most of the candidates would not even consider bringing our troops home from Iraq. Now every candidate has a plan to end the war.

We haven't had a national discussion about Health Care since the Clinton plan failed in 1993. Now, every candidate has a health care plan.

This year, global warming went mainstream and every candidate has a plan to fight climate crisis.

This is not 2000. This is not 2004.

This year, progressive values have taken center stage because of you. With the DFA presidential Primary petitions, you demanded the candidates take strong positions. They responded directly to DFA in videos and 'Vote for Me' email messages. They took your issues and made it the core of their campaigns.

In 2008, progressive values will beat the Republicans every single time. We are leading the party and moving America forward. And, we're doing it together.

Please contribute $15 right now and, together we will elect a progressive president.

I'm proud of what we've done. It's time to finish the job we started and elect a progressive president.

Thank you for turning your contribution into action.

Well, this is good news in a way. At least we've put the Hilldabeast on notice that she's not qualified nor is she wanted. And Barak doesn't stand a chance in a head to head with any of the Republicans. Now if only we could get Newt to run.

I know you pride your self on accuracy. The old actor came in third.

The "I was a prisoner of North Vietnam" guy came in fourth.

BTW you know what Progressive means? Same old communists in brand new clothes. i.e. steal your money and tell you what to do (a favorite of politicians every where - which is why all politicians are "progressive"). And they will call it progress.

Anyone keeping track of the word "Change" this week?

Thank you for correcting me. This post was at 9:00 PM and about 97% were reporting I believe.

Obama is a sure winner if he is squared off against Huckabee.

I hope the Dems make the same thing out of the Dumond case that the Repukes did with Willie Horton in smearing Dukakis.

Somebody in here once asked me what I meant by "corn-pone fascist". Well, Huckabee is the very personification-a home-style theocratist who will destroy what is left of our secular democracy and take us back to the middle ages.

I'm really hope that the Dems have only Huckabee to beat. I believe even the fundamentalists will see through that guy.
