* Neighborhood Caterer Charges Outrageous Prices

"According to Ginderske’s D-2 Final Report, Terry Feingold gave $15,800.00 of in-kind contributions to Ginderske in the form of “Consulting Catering.” (There was a separate $4,000 in-kind item for “consulting.”)

That’s a hell of a lot of catering. Keep in mind, I was there folks, an embedded citizen journalist, right up to and for a short while after Ginderske lost in late February, 2007.

I was at most of the Feingold catered events, and unless he prices a bowl of corn chowder somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 a bowl, with finger sandwiches priced around $10 each, I am bewildered as to just what that $15,800.00 involves.

Blognotes: Poor Mannis, got duped by a community back-stabber. At least he's one of the few who found his way back from the dark side. Now Mannis is so credible, his work is picked up by other real news sources.

*Does that cost extra? Unsanitary food handling by Gold-N-Pear's Terry Feingold caught on film. Just look at those dirty ski gloves.

Let's say Jimmy Boy had 40 volunteers. That breaks down to $395 dollars per volunteer in food.

Let's say everyone of the Ginderske voters got to eat. That breaks down to $17 per voter in food.

When it came to catering for votes, GInderske spared no expense.

What should you get for $17 bucks per person in catering. Prime Rib. A generous slice of Prime rib with Au Jus and baked potato, vegetable, tossed salad, and a dinner roll. $16.75 Source.

It looks like a lot of padded tax write offs here.

A Caterer can charge what ever they like and make a profit.

Let's see they make the food, deliver it, serve it, clean up the mess and containers when it is over, and return all of the containers to the catering kitchemn, and have to wash everything as well.

Odds are it adds up.........
Gas in this day and age @ 3.25 a gallon, and when Jim was running gas was closer to 3.50 a gallon.

So, if a local business man can't make a living, because you think he charges too much, should he hop on the corporate bandwagon and work for some cookie cutter company, and take away a local business?

Was this for one event or through the course of the campaign? A posh wedding can easily cost that with caterers. Maybe someone got married at one of their meetings.
