6:12 PM: Calls coming in. Five (5) males rolling dice on the sidewalk at Bosworth and Jonquil. At the same time another ticket says kids rolling dice and passing drugs at 7714 North Paulina.
6:38 PM: 8 or 9 guys hanging out at Clark and Estes flashing gang signs.
7:09 PM: Anonymous neighbor calls. A group hanging out in front of 1428 West Farwell. Thinks they're selling drugs.

Just ask Joe, he'll tell ya.
Crime is down 49%.
I'm not really sure why I continue to read this blog. I'm not about to argue the point that there are no problems in the neighborhood but these posts are getting utterly ridiculous...if not suggestive of racial profiling. I think you should try and substantiate some of your postings. I don't know if you realize this but playing dice is not a crime.
Playing dice for money is a crime.
Something like.
1661 GAMBLING GAME/DICE

Yatzee ok.
Cash laying on the ground or in the person with the dice see above.
Shooting craps on the street for money has always been a crime. My late dad had plenty of stories about crap games that he broke up while he was a IL state policeman. In fact, years after he was off the force, I watched him break up a craps game in front of my grandmother's house. It was in broad daylight, and the guys playing were some of the neighborhood's well-known gangbangers.
Not everone who is caught playing craps is an African-American youth. But those street gambling sessions have often led to beat downs and/or shootings over money.
