Very few details on this shooting, as I turned on the scanner a bit late (thanks for the tip, Robin). Can't tell you the exact location. Can't tell you what time this exactly happened. Can't tell you what the offender looked like.
I can tell you the person was cowardly shot in the back.

One at Farwell and Sheridan.
Looks like we're in for a banner summer for crime in these parts.
Than you, Joe Moore, for giving shelter and encouragement to the slumlords other neighborhoods won't tolerate.
This is how life will be around here until we get local leadership that decides this crap is just intolerable.
What I remember about the shooting was the shooter was a young black male on what looked to be a dirt bike riding with six or seven white-hispanic males. For a while they didn't know if the injury was from a gun or blunt force trauma and were looking for shell casings. An officer was looking at a video of them fleeing down Estes.
Farwell was a hit and run. The person (female) was reportedly bleeding pretty badly. Husband said something to me (so I didn't hear clearly), just as an officer said what sounded like 'Ask CFD if they can bag up the hand'. Didn't hear anything more about it.
A little bit south of the area, but there was another shooting (and person hit) last night at 1105 West Berwyn.
We just now had a "hit and run" on juneway and Clark. A white GMC van fled east on Juneway after running over someone.
