* Female Stabbed on Touhy

This is becoming all-to-common in Rogers Park. Blood stains on the sidewalk. I'm told this blood at Touhy and Sheridan comes from a female who was stabbed a couple of nights ago.

* This is right across the street from a murder on June 9, 2008.

* This is 4 blocks from a murder on June 16, 2008.

* This is about 10 blocks from where a person was shot on June 18, 2008.

We haven't heard from Joe Moore lately regarding crime. Not a peep. Joe Moore needs to stand up and denounce this crime wave with something more than his lame "crime is down" rhetoric. The public doesn't believe that crap anymore. And we don't need Joe Moore to send out one of his puppet mouthpieces and have her blame the "bloggers" again? The public doesn't believe that crap anymore either. Click here.

WOW- we are ramping up for one hell of a summer up here.

We haven't had such a summer for violent crime since 2001.

I can't help but notice that we have a few more "problem" buildings since last year. The CHA townhouses at Pratt and Bosworth have never had so many lowlifes milling about in front. 1735 W. Pratt is polluting the whole area west of Clark. And now we have the situation with the buildings on Lunt.

We all can't help but notice that our AlderScum is completely oblivious to the increasing distress of our area, and seems dead set on making the situation worse.

We must remember all of this at the next election, and we need to get busy NOW to politicize our more apathetic neighbors. Many of the people with the most at stake around here did not bother to come out to vote, but are just voting with their feet, and dumping their homes and condos and buildings however they can. They have had their hopes raised and then crushed too many times, so we have to work on newcomers, too.

Whatever we do, we have to get this scumbum out and make sure that we don't replace him with one of his minions.

Joe Moore, soft on crime and doesn't want to talk about it unless it's an election year.

Then, he'll lie to you with saying like this.

"Crime is down 49%."

Classmates of shooting victim march to alderman's office

Monday, June 23, 2008 | 4:55 PM

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Classmates of a 14-year-old killed last week are calling for the end of gun violence in their community.

Jeremy Jones attended Samuel Gompers Elementary School in the city's West Pullman neighborhood.

On Monday, students and teachers led an anti-violence march there.

Last Wednesday night, Jones was walking with a friend when police say someone on a bike shot him in the head.

He died a day later. The shooter is still on the loose.

On Monday, the boy's friends marched to Alderman Anthony Beale's office demanding that he help them stop the violence.

Alderman Beale did not return an ABC7 call for a comment.

Alderman are ALL THE SAME. When the going gets tough, they hide.
