Jose Regalado, 21, was shot in the head about 8:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Touhy Avenue. He was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m. in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, the medical examiner's office said.I reported last night about this shooting at Touhy and Clark. That makes two shootings that have caused two murders on Touhy with-in the last week. And word has it, this just may be gang-related. Shocking. Just shocking.

Yet another murder right by the Clark and Estes hellhole! Good think we've still got the Adelphi-hole-in-the-ground-gentrification-landbanking-incubator there cleaning up that corner. Are they even continuing with construction there anymore? I haven't seen anything happening in weeks.

Craig I have heard that joey hardly lives in his home in the ward. Have you ever looked into this? Think about it if you don't live in the ward you where voted to represent, then you wouldn't know what is going on in your ward. Which would allow you to make statements like "Crime is down in the 49th ward"
the response last night (monday) was to have a seat belt safety check at touhy and clark around 7pm... tons of police, orange cones and officers eyeballing cars for seatbelt usage... 100 feet from the scene of the crime... nice investigation.
