So much for the "No-Fly Zone." Did anyone else catch this today around noon?
The first few letters the pilot made were way too close to the cloud - and with the wind blowing east, his/her first letter disappeared before the sky-writer finished four letters. Had this been done right, it would've been a thing of beauty. But, as a sky-writer, this person was a total failure. He/She took a nose-dive.There should be some sort of city code or ordinance for this - because it went downhill from there.
Did anyone catch what the end letters spelled? Click here.

The last few letters I saw appeared to be a reverse E (a hard cornered 3?) followed by a word made of W O and a reverse C.
So from above it in the sky it would have said C O W but from the ground it was messed up.
I agree- such a waste of fuel, it's almost criminal.
It spelled Sky Mail Me. Com and was apparently intended for a street fair in Evanston. I admit it's a waste of fuel, but I enjoyed it anyway.
Sky Mail Me just sent me a email saying I had 6906 viewers to my sky mail yesterday. WOW!
Click here to see it again. Or make your own...
The letters said SkyMailMe.com and it was really cool. That website is pretty neat, it's like a game and you can send to people. Skywriting is actually a fine art and very difficult in certain weather conditions. Give him a break, and some points for creative marketing!
I got a stat e-mail from Skymailme. My site generated the largest response to their promotional gimmick.
