Kind of off-topic but are there any preparations in the area to deal with New Year's Eve? As you probably know, it's a big holiday to start shooting off guns at midnight, sometimes straight up in the air, sometimes not. And with the suspected influx of guns now in RP, you might want to warn your readers to stay off the street at midnight. Make sure they're inside somewhere and now outside celebrating or even taking a smoke. Seriously. If they don't get hit by a bullet returning to earth, they could be the victim of a stuckup artist who is using the celebration as a cover for any shooting he might do. Is the alderman/cops prepared for this?

Has anyone got a buzz yet?

Generally in the past, a few minutes after midnight, some sergeant will get on zone 11 & tell all the patrol cops not to go north of Howard unless they are specifically assigned to a job.
The loons up there find this night a great time to shoot at the cops, often with rifles.
What a nice bunch of guys!
[That's sarcasm for those who are humor impaired.]

The advice my Dad always gave me for New Years Eve is to stay away from the windows, especially if you are located on higher floors.

Here's hoping that everyone gets through this celebration of the New Year alive.

Happy New Years Craig!

Happy New Year to you too, Bill.

Oh, have you tried the game yet?

A very MERRY NEW YEAR to you, Craig! And to Cota, too! And, to all your readers, with the exception of the ALDER-JOKER!

His time is running out...FAST!

It's probably good that you left out the world "diversity," because binge drinking can kill.
