5:59 AM: A 911 caller was watching from the above train stop at the Loyola Univesity Red Line and witnessed an alleged kidnapping at Albion and Sheridan. The caller said the vehicle with 2 males drove up and snatched a female off the street. The caller said the female was screaming. The vehicle fled north, then turned east on Columbia. The description of the vehicle is a tan 4 door Toyota Corolla. Loyola One radioed in asking for more information. The car was last seen leaving Columbia and heading north on Sheridan. Nothing further at this time.
6:02 AM: Not sure if this is related. A battery has been called in for 1100 West Columbia.

I hope they find the girl... alive! I take it that no one tried to help the poor girl? I swear, I feel like this world consists of nothing but idiots and cowards!
I'm a little surprised to see you awake at 5:59am (but it's nice to read about something that happened in the morning for once). Anyway, I really hope that this girl is found alive and safe. I don't even know why people are so stupid kidnapping someone off the street. It's just outrageous.
I didn't hear this get "coded out" or have I heard an "all call" or APB as it's called on the television police shows. Maybe they caught them? Maybe the girl knew the snatchers? Maybe she got beat-up and dropped off? Maybe she got sexually assaulted? Maybe she's still being held against her will? Maybe the new commander will send out a official press release saying this 911 call never happened?
I also heard the 'original' dispatch this A.M.
