Senior Beaten on Jonquil
8:42 PM: We're getting a couple of 911 calls regarding a group of teens offering one senior citizen a good old fashioned beat down. This public display of affection is going down at Jonquil and Marshfield. Officers arrive to a victim who is cussing and won't cooperate. The teens scatter in multiple directions.

Why were they beating up on a senior? I could halfway see it if they were beating on another teen or young adult, but a senior? Don't they have anything better to do besides beat up people?
I don't blame the senior for cussing. I would've been too.
Bolder and bolder and bolder...Get ready for the middle of the Saturday afternoon gun battle on Morse. They don't have any reason to fear anything since the local powers-that-be haven't GIVEN then any reason to fear any repercussions.
I keep saying it. . .all it takes is for one of those youngbloods to roll up on the wrong person, then it's game over for them.
Of course, then there'll be outcries from the social workers -- "Regardless of what that child did, they should not have hit them!" Add the teens' parents using that tired old line -- "My child would never do that!"
Boxing Tomboy, I feel the same way. They're going to mess with a person that they wished they never messed with.
Screw the outcries. If your teen (and I'm a teen myself ... check that out) hits someone, you should except the results, period. I've been stupid and gotten into fights at school before, but my mom didn't defend me ONCE if I started the incident.
By definition we all live in a high crime area, right?
Give me the option of concealed carry. It wouldn't take long for the knuckle 4_cks to learn that people may not be defenseless.That would change the paradigm on the streets.
Guns don't kill people, asshole non-law abiding people do.
The current laws DO NOTHING to reduce gun violence as thug life does not follow the law. What the laws do is make us all sheeple in the eyes of the predatory thugs infesting many areas of the country, but this area has it pretty bad as compared to National averages.
What happens to thug life's thinking if granny might have a gun?
