Right outside our window. We hit the deck when we heard it. The "kids" that hang out on the bus stop all day, every day like it's a park bench. Isn't that private property (belonging to the CTA)? So calling the cops about it wouldn't be violating any "freedom of assembly" laws, would it?
The good part... a bunch of the people in the surrounding buildings came out and gathered on the corner in a show of force and not cowering in their homes.

Sawed off guns isn't a surprise to me. I hear it over on Zone 12 all of the time when there's "shots fired" or a "person with a gun" call.
I have the feeling that it'll be a wild summer almost everywhere in this city, no matter where you go.
