This seems like all they know how to do. If they want to fight so much, go to a country we're at war with and fight the enemies.
Bikes? Still better than bullets.
What is with all the fights??!! Yes it's better than bullets but this just seems so silly! I feel like there is a blog about another RP fight every other day...
I personally don't get the brawling in the street in the middle of the day, or at least in the early evening. Fighting? Throwing bikes? Seriously, they have absolutely NOTHING better to do? Even if I DIDN'T have a job, I'd have better things to do than fight in the middle of the street on a Monday evening or what I'm pretty sure is some pointless sh*t.
I overlook a park here in Rogers Park so I am privileged to be witness to a myriad spectrum of human behaviors.
Just the other day a group of 8 kids were "play" fighting. Younger teenagers. They had one guy on the ground who was covering his head with his hands. As he was there on the ground the other 7 all took fake kicks, swings, and stomps on him. Really, they didn't land a blow, but it was all like BAMB!, Check this out, BAMB-stomp, Kick, double stomp.
These blows -if delivered for real- could easily hospitalize, kill, maim, or permanently injure a person.
It reminded me of a nature thing I saw once. Lion cubs playing. Forward to adult Lions and the EXACT SAME Jumps, lunges, etc were now in use in their hunting. It was uncanny.
It may be "play" now, but frankly if these kids do not get guidance/intervention, these same actions will probably be used to victimize somebody else in short order.
