It's Petition Time

I sure didn't do this last time around - but she won me over. She beat the horse I backed, fair and square. She had the mandate. Yet, after all I did to see her not get elected, she held out her hand and helped me with a few issues. And believe me, I how politics is played, she didn't have to. For that she proved she could look beyond the opponent. She turned the opposition into a supporter. With that I'm publishing a email poof I got from Heather Steans.
On Saturday, September 19th we are having another day of petitioning. We will be working from my house, 5348 N. Lakewood, from 9:30 am to 4 pm. You can stop by anytime for assignments and/or to drop of completed petition sheets (we will have a notary public on hand). Please RSVP to charlene@heathersteans.com.

If you have petitions out, please be sure to get them notarized and turned in as soon as possible. Stop by my campaign office at 5539 N. Broadway or call or email Charlene at charlene@heathersteans.com or 773-681-1814 with any questions. My campaign office hours are 10AM to 5PM Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 12PM to 7PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Volunteers are welcome in the office whenever it is open.

Thanks again for your support and help,
Heather
If you can take the time to sign Heather's petition, I urge you to. I am.

Oh, and I'll be supporting David Hoffman for US Senate, for those who may be wondering. And if I lived north of Touhy, my candidate of choice would be Jeff Smith. Personally I think he would've taken Joe Moore to the woodshed and back. That's why Moore is staying put.

no thanks, I'm not behind her - who is running against her? I also want any incumbants out!!! It's time for new blood in these seats.

Fellow Rogers Parkers.
She seems like a wonderful and caring lady to me. Maybe we should all get in line behind the very dear and beautiful Heather.
As for Senator, I will be backing Roland Burris.

Well, Rachael honey - Roland isn't going to run - interesting to see that our two Senators (Durbin and Burris) were two of only 7 Senators to vote against more federal $$ for the thieving organization Acorn.
Isn't it finally time to get some decent individuals in public office in this state?

I didn't vote for her last time. I thought that she was too rich, would only care about the people in the $2,000,000 homes in Andersonville and the Andersonville business district.

Boy was I ever wrong. Heather Steans shows up at everything. Prepared. And she listens. Including going to gay events (some Alderman on the northern edge of the city have never been to one to my knowledge). She's thoughtful. And responsive. And she doesn't care that my area is one of the poorest areas she represents and can't afford to make political donations. We get the same representation (good) that everyone gets from Heather. As it should be. And it is definately noted and appreciated.

I no longer care that she's rich and lives in Lakewood Balmoral. She has a record and in my eyes it is an impressive one. She had the guts to vote against the budget too. We have two good representatives in Harry Osterman and Heather Steans.

IIn other words, Heather is the polar opposite of No (I mean Joe) Moore in my eyes.
