More Miles of Murals in Rogers Park

"Murals Forever!" "Just keep on doing it!"
Al Goldberg
July, 2007
Well, Al, they are. Whomever they may be. Here's two of three murals spray painted on the Rogers Park Vintage Management building in the 7000 block of North Glenwood. Clearly the artist has visions of $$$ signs. That must represent the tax-payer money that's going to be spent removing this mural?

What does Al Goldberg have to do with this, and why drag his good name down?

This is not a picture of a mural, it's garbage, and maybe you should address our alderman or the local police

There are a number of well known & innovative contemporary gallery artists who got their start this way.

Graffiti has been around since the BC times with Greco-Romanians of Atlantis.

So who bears the greater civic burden: Citizen-artists who publicly document life in Rogers Park circa 2009 or people who regard this as an eyesore?

Hey Newgarder - it's private property - it's not their wall to paint on!

I agree. Leave Al Goldberg alone. He's a good person trying to do good things in RP.

Just barely out of RP, but some asswipe tagged the brick wall of St. Henry Cemetery along Devon, just west of Ridge.
