That's what Joe Moore calls it. It's better known as HB 6000. I got wind of the bill by Angela Caputo via a readers email tip.
From the way the article was written I though Joe was for this on first reading. But an email response from Joe, he tells me he isn't for it. All I know is this bill has to be stopped. Email your state rep and tell him or her what you think of HB 6000. You can bet I will.
Update #1: I talked with State Rep. Greg Harris this morning and he's looking into the progress of this bill and who's steam-rolling it besides State Rep. Lyons.

This bill is a disaster and we need to get it killed quickly. It isn't already difficult enough to dislodge an incumbent? If anyone noticed, many incumbents were running unopposed in the last election, and those in front of it, as should never happen.
If anything, it should be easier to get on the ballot, not more difficult.
Our elected officials at all levels of government are doing their best to turn this country into a dictatorship by a small oligarchy and their servant politicians. They no longer fear the electorate and are making their contempt for us painfully obvious They have almost succeeded in turning this city into a dictatorship. As it is, our two-party system is a joke- when you vote for one party or the other, you are only voting for the right or left hand of the same monster.
Monster?
I hope someone will red this and figure out this bill.
Joe claims $2000 plus to Peoples GAs. Is this for heat in his rented office space on Greenview? this is not possible. I heat a home over 4000 square feet and my bill is not this high. He has a little cracker jack box of an office. What a scam! I hope he isn't pay someone elsee's gas bill.
