This is too sickening, and it's much more prevalent in every town and neighborhood than the stats let on.

This is the best reason to repeal our stupid, savage, criminal drug laws, as well as other "vice" laws- so that we can let druggies and whores who aren't harming anyone but themselves out of prison and make space for these irredeemable scum.

Why put them in jail when death is preferable to most of us...

RPV, I would agree with you except for one thing.... you want to give them incentive to let their victims live. If you give them the same penalty for raping a kid as you would raping AND killing the kid, they will surely kill the kid.

It's not that they deserve to live-they don't and if we let them run around loose, they will surely kill. They always escalate to killing sooner or later. And you can't rehabilitate them, either- we should drop every program that involves "treatment" and "rehabilitation" because the recidivism rate has shown that it doesn't work with these perverts.

But we have to give them SOME reason to let their victims live, and then make sure there isn't another victim.

And sometimes the prison population will do our work for us anyway. Many career criminals were repeatedly molested and raped as children, and nearly all prostitutes were. That is why prisoners tend to have a special, fierce hatred for child molesters and will usually make short work of them the minute they can get their hands on them.

Residents of a Rogers Park apartment building were evacuated Monday morning when a fire started on the back porches of their building, Chicago Breaking News reports.

No injuries were reported. The fire was first reported at about 7:51 a.m. at the four-story building in the 1400 block of West Albion Avenue, Rich Rosado, a Chicago Fire Department spokesman told Chicago Breaking News.

The fire spread to a 1½-story frame house around the corner in the 6500 block of North Newgard Avenue and caused some damage, according to Chicago Breaking News.

Witnesses on the scene said it appeared the fire originated on the third or fourth level of the building. It was struck out by about 8:30 a.m., Rosado told Chicago Breaking News.

Im guessing this is about where it happened, there is tan ugly small house next to a large 4 story apt building on the east side of newgard and south of albion,

I got a first hand story on the fire from a renter. She told me one of the tenants lost everything. I'll be posting a "need list" later today.
