Full Blown Mayhem on Jonquil
4: 15 PM: All hell's broken loose north of Howard. Large angry mob is causing a huge ruckus at Marshfield and Jonquil. Lot's of police activity. Extra police cars have been called in for reinforcement. Offender(s) who have been rounded up are being brought into the police station. Kids who are being dismissed at Gale School are being held inside for their safety.

Damn, that's horrible, Craig. Another reason why I'm glad I left school at 10:30 today. I wonder what this can be about, though.
Avondale....this is probably not about anything particular. This is typical behavior North of Howard. Anything goes...there are no laws or rules here.
Some people don't need a reason to act like a fool. Maybe they were angry because it was Wednesday. :-)

I think this Blog will have to serve as the Blog for the entire Rogers Park area.
I appreciate all the work done on this blog. Would be nice if it had a facebook site like edgewater and uptown's.

That's true, Timothy and Bosworth. Though, I was more or less trying to figure out if it was teenagers involved in this. I also wonder if anyone from Sullivan was involved.
Dave, what you also said is true.
My friend is a crossing guard for C.M.S.A. and Sullivan. Two kids were shot this week and there was a weapons check at C.M.S.A. yesterday.
