I heard 6 shots fired very rapidly in the vicinity of Pratt & Sheridan just before 4 AM. I called immediately, but heard no sirens till well after 4. But perhaps the police arrived silently before that.
is there any connection to the recent shooting and stabbing violence here and the violent rherotic used by protestors in Wisconsin? Have any of the AWOL senators been spotted in Rogers Park?
Yeah I heard the shots too. They woke me up. I didn't hear sirens until about 30 minutes after and then I didn't hear anything at all. Were they just shots and nothing else?
I saw the is glass broken on Sheridan & Pratt at the bus stop its still missing. One of my sources tells me this is a Latin King thing to make a point around Rogers Park for drug turf. The other violence in the area is rumored to be from the Kings trying to take over the GD's from around You might have noticed the normal thugs on Morse that hang out around there and ride the bikes have been no where to be seen. Several of them got locked up but many of them are scared to work the area. Most of those guys on Morse are all GD's and those ones in particular are pretty scared of the Kings. When the younger GD's get locked up they tend to get worked pretty hard by LK's in Cook County and Illinois State Prison. I have validated information on this. The Kings want Sheridan to Ridge and Chase to North Shore because of the volume of crack heads that have some money in the apartment buildings. I think Brian White thought these apartments were supposed to be really good for the area. lol. :) This is a pretty futile attempt because they have very weak presence except near Clark St.
