No "Hoops" involved in teens shot North of Howard

(Oct. 17, 2012/Rogers Park) - It's amazing the crap our mainstream media reports, and the general public eats it up like kids eat candy on Halloween. Let's look at the story about the two teens shot last night North of Howard. According to the bullshit being fed to the unassuming public, these kids were innocently playing a game of "hoops" in Willye White Park, behind the field-house, at 10:30 p.m.

Yet, how in the hell can these kids play "hoops" without "hoops?"

See, CAPS 2422 wanted to keep the gang activity down, saying the "hoops" drew in the gangs. They requested the "hoops" removed. So, the "hoops" were removed, as you can see by the photo above taken today. Despite the fact the "hoops" were removed -- this didn't stop any loitering or gangs hanging out - as intended by the CAPS meeting request. And it sure didn't stop two teenagers from being shot last night at 7600 North Marshfield.

BLOGNOTES: Nor did the Ceasefire sticker that is attached to one of the four "hoop-less" backboards.

I caught that in the media too. Liars. It's really sad when you can't give people anything nice or it becomes trouble. Build a basketball court, and then remove the hoops and nets. Why stop there? Remove the poles too.
