SHOCKER ALERT: Obama wins the 49th ward

Mr. President has won the hearts of us 49th ward voters, as he did when he was a lowly state senator and got imortalized on the "Miles of Murals" project, between Lunt and Greenleaf, on the west side of the tracks.

Let's just pray Mr. Hope/Change/Promise/Forward, and all that jazz, doesn't go back on his word, as the wrong way sign in front of the Red Line Tap points out.

Total votes cast in the 49th Ward: 17,984
Obama/Biden: 15,842 - 88.09%
Rommey/Ryan: 1657 - 9.21%
Johnson/Gray: 180 - 1.00%
Stein/Hawkins: 305 - 1.70%

Will be interesting if Mr. Obama starts doing what he promised over 4 years ago. This state is SO predictable (perhaps rigged) when it comes to election time. Never any excitement. Always the same old politicans being elected over and over again. Look at Jesse Jackson Junior...who would keep that clown in office anyway? Clueless!

So those are the stats. Thanks Craig.
