Street fight Tuesday

The kids are restless today. No less than three streets fights have occurred this afternoon and evening, with the most recent at Howard and Bosworth at 5:20 p.m., where a girl is using a stick as a weapon. Officers are roaming the neighborhood to control he public mayhem.

Another broad daylight street fight occurred today at Northshore and Clark around 2:52 p.m., where residents called 311 reporting three male hispanic teens beating up a male black. When officers arrived the fight had dispersed.

Another small fight erupted at Lunt and Ashland about 1:45 p.m. First officer on scene gave dispatch the "slow down".

Meanwhile that little cunt named Mr. Rogers is talking about peace and love on EveryBlock.

Also now there's a very weird guy named Reverend Wesbrooks preaching in favor of gang member's well-being.

Wow. I would have thought all you dangerous internet tough guys would have waded into the middle of that fight and straightened those kids out!

Just as I suspected.

@Anonymous 7:27: Been there, done that. August 25, 2005. Given the police did jack shit on the situation that day, once is enough for me.

Nice to know how easily you make excuses for doing nothing, Craig. Just another two-bit internet tough tough guy flexing his keyboard muscles.

Hello Craig, my name is Cat and I'm a journalism student from Northwestern University. I'm writing an article about violence in Rogers Park, and I wanted to set up an interview with you. Could you let me know how I could best contact you?

Thank you,

Cat

@Anon 8:37: See what I mean. They sure aren't looking for your lame Everyblock ass to find factual information.

I may only be worth two-bits, but you, being Mr. Anonymous internet poster, you're a "dime a dozen."

Show us how tough you are. Put your real name behind those words.

My watch area is more like Sheridan and Devon, sorry, that's not my patrol area.

Craig. Face it, little man. Your blog is devoted to your being pissed that Everyblock told you to go away.

Where is the "tough guy" in that weird little equation?

Get some help, man...

Oh, and I'm sure that young journalism student's dad is at this moment exploring whether he should be talking to the local police about his daughter being in the same room as you. Don't you think?

My name is William Barker, dear sir. And it is I who is behind these tough words. I love this community, I own several buildings here, and I will see you tomorrow at the corner of Greenview and Morse for a duel to see just how tough you are. Drop the turkey legs and show up.

7:00PM.

You won't show, I'm sure.

Mr. Rogers sounds like 50th warder Hugh Devlin. A real loser if there ever was one.

Is this the Hugh Devlin in question?

Anon 10:13: Congratulations. You're the last anonymous commenter. While they'll be less comments, it'll be much more manageable for readers to follow along.

I would find the kid-fights entertaining if they ever happened near Morse and Sheridan where I live. Watching the po-po try to break them up is even more amusing since they really can't do much with minors.
Rock on, kid-fights!!
