The Chicago Police have released surveillance photos of a "person of interest" in the December 19, 2012 alleged rape of a female at the Morse Avenue CTA 'L'. These released photos are not to imply guilt, only to let the public know they want to talk to this person. The person is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200lbs.
Alderman Moore released this press release this morning.
If you have any questions call Jim Higgins, the CTA Security manager at 773-820-1019 or the Chicago Police at 911.

CCW could have prevented this. Just sayin...
This alleged perp could have been frightened away by the sight of a gun. Bring on the CCW and let's decrease violent crime!
If that thug was hanging around the Lunt L stop during the wee hours of the morning...why didn't he get the "business" from the cops? Oh, that's right, the ACLU might come down too hard on them. There have been many complaints and comments being made by residents (for years) about characters hanging on Morse/Glenwood Avenues near the L; people who really don't need to be "loitering" there. It is obvious to most residents that the street hustlers, thugs, violent criminals, and beggars are usually up to no good. Time to start protecting the area in "out of the box" ways. That construction site has been a problem for at three months now (maybe longer?), as it sits empty creating yet another haven for criminal activity. Glad to see some construction work has resumed in that area.
That is one ugly looking dude!
The press release is very interesting. It tracks the guy from Bryn Mawr to Lunt by way of camera images. There are enough images to identify him if his family and homies are willing to "snitch" on him. Let's all sit back and see what happens. Will they co-operate?
Is that face he's making because he exposed his genitals to the icy cold? How in the hell do you perform in this weather?
