Woman sexually assaulted under the new Morse 'L' (Update 4X)

This is the corner spot where I spotted the woman laying
and the police standing over the body at 6:20 a.m., Dec 19, 2012.
This morning around 5:30 a.m., a woman was sexually assaulted at Lunt and Glenwood, at the new bike station; which has yet to be fully completed.

At 6:20 a.m., while walking my dogs, I saw two squad cars and two policeman that were standing over the victim as she was laying on the ground. I figured it was just Gidget sleeping, so I really didn't pay any mind. And, with the police already on scene, I didn't want to get arrested at 6:20 a.m. for asking too many questions to piss them off - and get ticketed for some bogus dog related offense again.

BLOGNOTES: The newly installed CTA security camera's should've recorded the whole thing. After all, that's why the CTA spent the money and installed them. Just like they spent money for the big-ass CTA sign mounted on the overpass today.

Police are asking people to be careful around this area. I've been saying that for years. Maybe now people will listen?

ABC 7 has the full story, (video included) as that's why they were here. Not for a big-ass CTA logo unveiling.

UPDATE #1: Fox News is now reporting the woman was in her 50's. That's right in Gidget's age bracket. If I find out this was Gidget Green, Occupy Rogers Park and Katy Hogan have some explaining to do.

UPDATE #2: DNAinfo had another reporter other than Benji cover the story, all-be-it, two hours late. DNAinfo used Benji's two month old photo to accompany the story. Talk about coming late to the party. NBC and Fox news are now on scene taking up parking spaces on Lunt - and ABC is still here.

People on Everyblock are still as clueless as ever - as one net-comment started by Allison, who asked what's going on   - without looking at the ABC news feed Everyblock thread - which explained what's going on - a few cute kitty/puppy/new restaurant boycott threads below.

UPDATE #3: Trilogy has been all over my website in the last two hours. Examining every story I wrote on her. These were the people advocated to help her, along with Ocuppy Rogers Park and Katy Hogan.

UPDATE #4: Police are looking for a black male in his 20's, who raped a female.  I saw the CTA security photos tonight being passed out in the 20th district. According to the police passing around the photos for id, seems the alleged rapist also used the Bryn Mawr 'L' stop.

Sad story. Why doesn't the public have more information about this crime? It does not appear in the headlines much at all and if it does, the details are minimal and conflict with each other. Why isn't the community asking for answers on this?

So, you are officially an anti-Rogers Park blog.

Nice going, asshole. Now go have another drink.

Wow Drunken Craig. Seems you need a few stiff ones about now.

The new Lunt Avenue entrance to the Red Line does not seem to be an ideal place to carry out a rape. It looks open and well lighted. Or was the rapist just bold since it was dark and early in the morning?

It was dark on Wednesday morning, unlike how it looks today, all well lit and everything. I'm suprised how long these workers took to do this project the last few months, and then in the last 24 hours how fast they worked to get it finished and get the hell out of there with all the media and cops hovering around.

I could just hear the boss yesterday. "Guy's let's finish this up and get out of here!"

I dont know why these men aren't stone to death for their crime. in my country they are punish severely but here police get blame not for helping

Now there is an idea, fellow Rogers Parkers. Let's stone the loiterers, the drunks, the panhandlers, yes even Gidget, to death.
