Two students arrested at Sullivan High School (Update)

The Chicago Police had to arrest two students December 7, 2012 at 12:10 p.m. at Sullivan High School, 6631 North Bosworth, after the students became unruly. Extra police were initially called to the scene at 11:38 a.m. Dispatch radioed to other officers in the area to help out an officer who was already on scene was having trouble controlling the fiasco.

Police are giving extra presence to the area after the disturbance took place.

UPDATE - 12:34 p.m: Police have requested a police wagon near the cafeteria, as another fight has broken out. Looks like three more students are going to jail. One student is being charged with battery to the Principal of the school.

UPDATE - 4:00 p.m: Sullivan dismissal went smooth, there were no flair-ups. Police are still keeping a watchful eye on the situation.

Loyola, there are always two officers at the school when it's in session. Not to mention that there's at least one off-duty officer who works there, I think, at least that's how it was when I was attending there.

Hi Timmy. How's our crime blogging, college student doing? Everything okay over at Wilber Wright?

I really appreciated your reports on Sullivan a few years back. Can't tell you how proud I am that you're still keeping your neighborhood informed while juggling your continued education.

For those new here, Timmy offered the Broken Heart Sullivan reports and later went on to publish his own blog.

Toni Hinkledinkle (Cook County Bored Commander) said this morning that the Rahm and Garry solution is just to arrest everybody. She/He would rather shovel more tax money at our little high school darlings.
Thanks, Toni.
Thanks, Rahm.
Thanks, Garry.
