Every morning in the 1300-1400-1500 hundred blocks of West Morse Avenue, you can find the Open Air Drug Market Salesman and their spotters working hard to earn their pay. According to The Chicago Police Department, these Open Air Markets can make up to $5000 dollars a day. Figures vary upon reports.
While waiting, they are usually passing the time sidewalk gambling at the Morse Avenue Crack-Ho Casino, the game of choice is dice.
Beverages are served, usually in brown bags, mostly 12oz and 40 oz cans of beer. SSA #24, a taxpayer funding cleaning service does the cleaning for the Open Air Drug Market Salesman. Calling 911 doesn't do any good, I have called numerous times, by the times. 911 arrives 5 to 10 minutes later, and the Open Air Drug Market Spotters, do their job, warning the salesman, and they hide.
According to DevCorp North SSA #24 Commissioner minutes, ( July 14th, 2004 ) a spokesperson for Tactical Solutions Group. Inc said 911 response time in Rogers Park is typically 10 to 15 minutes. They claim their response time is a minute or a minute and a half.
While walking the dog at the lakefront this morning, I noticed Chicago Police Department squad car #2431 parked "IN LOYOLA PARK" at Morse Avenue, about 150 yards from the lake, facing the lake at 5:40am. I watched and waited 10 minutes and called 911 to see why he was there, this was at 5:51am. I asked to have a supervisor come out to check on him.
At 6:01am, Car 2431 suddenly drove off, and no supervisor ever arrived. Car #2431 missed the sunrise, so he must have been guarding the water? Having been brought up numerous times, we need full time foot patrol officers in beat 2431. Not officers sitting in their cars, watching the sunrise from the beach or driving slowly by, allowing the gangs to scatter and hide.
I am now waiting for Beat Facilitator 2431, DevCorp North Board Secretary, 49th Ward Up/Down Zoning Committee President, DAC committee member, Morse Avenue Streetscape Fountain of Mis-Information spokesperson, 49th Ward Democratic Party Board member, CTA tattle tale Kevin O'Neil to tell us, "Morse Avenue doesn't have a gang problem, this street is a model of success. Look, Washington Mutual opened up"

A photo was taken, but it is on a camera phone. I guess I need to carry my good camera everywhere now?

You should post your phn/camera pics here
Camera phone issue, where's the cable?
A fellow dog walker friend told me this officer kills more time at the beach than David Hasselhoff.
