Bloody Mess
One Chicago Transit employee hoses and one sweeps, removing the blood that stained the sidewalk, in front of the back entrance, to the Morse Avenue el station, directly accross the street from the Heartland Cafe.

A bloody mess was left behind after somone who had too much to drink and fell down, early Saturday Morning around 2 am, according to a police spokesperson.

As one person who wished to be anonymous said, "It was gross... there was blood all over the place!"

* Kid Phone Taker/Fast Talker - Steals Cell Phone
Saturday @ 11:40 am

1409 Phone Store
A young male, we will call him, Kid Phone Taker/Fast Talker, walked in the 1409 W. Lunt Phone Store, across the street from the Heartland Cafe.

Minutes laters he walked out with a phone he didn't pay for, that's correct... Kid Taker/Talker stole a cell phone...box and all, with-out activating anything.

Police were called to the scene. While the police were arriving, the offender had walked east to the Lunt Avenue Mini Mart. Kitty corner to the Heartland Cafe.

The young male known as Kid Phone Taker/Talker entered the mini-mart and bought a blue juice, opened and discarded the not needed phone box and directions in the mini mart's garbage can, then left, heading east towards the Heartland Cafe.

Gary at the 1409 W. Lunt Phone store entered the mini mart to explain.. he, "had been robbed of a new phone", and asked the mini mart owner, " did he see anyone"?

The mini mart owner told the phone store owner "he did" and showed the phone owner, Gary, the phone box with instuctions in the garbage can. Kid Taker used the garbage can to discard the phone box, leaving evidence behind.

As the police arrived Kid Phone Taker was spotted. A chase began and Kid Talker was caught. Police searched for an hour looking for the phone Kid Taker took, opened and tossed during the chase.

Gary closed his shop the rest of the day and couldn't be reached for comment.

Kid Phone Taker/ Talker earns credit from the Hell Hole... for using a garbage can to get rid of the empty phone box.

Hi Kirsti,

Thanks for noticing the site! Got tired of having my stuff censored.

A Sweet Occasions sign on the door last fall claimed they would re-open in the spring.

This seemed odd as you mentioned they are opening a store in Andersonville too.

This location is so close to the school and church it seems a natural place to sell such great treats.

I like these guys, I kept them off my radar... just in hopes they do re-open.

When spring rolls around and they aren't opening again and the shop is in Andersonville, you bet I am going to make this a scoop.

A BIG SCOOP!
