* Two Gang Vision Fliers- Side By Side

Two Gangs
Last reported story showed how our eonomic robbers marked their turf with information fliers. As of today most owners removed the paper graffiti.

The Morseland Bar and Night Club didn't like it, they removed theirs. ReMax North Coast, Magic Video, JB's Pizza, Mamas Fish, and a host of other businesses did the same.

In the above photo we have one business that kept it up. Next to it is another gang flier.

It's hard to read the flier on the right, so let me explain what it is about. The Christmas print paper indicates a Homegoing for "Jo Jo".

Who is "Jo Jo"? Where was "Jo Jo" going? And why was "Jo Jo's" homegoing flier next to DevCorp Norths visioning flier?

Jo Jo" was featured on the Cover of Pioneer News Star last week, below the other gang story about DevCorp North. His real name is Jovon Booker. He was murdered by a rival gang on March 18th. The flier was for a vision visitation for other gang members to attend. A funeral.

See... the gangbangers hang around this storefront all the time. It's located in the 1300 block of West Morse Avenue. A few other fliers were hung in the 1400 block of West Morse also. Turf marking fliers.

If it's good enough for the lawless DevCorp North Gang to hang their vision flier, It's good enough for lawless gangs of Morse Avenue to put theirs up too. Mourning a loss of one of their own is important information, right?

I have to say, the vision on Jo Jo's flier is powerful, as is his gang. Their flier designers could have used Easter paper though. Christmas is birth, easter is death. Plus it is much more timely.

"May the Lord of our world give a soft sunlight to the field of your choice."
