Last week the "Broken Heart" asked...
.... If you didn't do anything wrong, why say "I'm sorry"?
This week some matters were cleared up by Angela Caputo from New-Star who reports....
"50 year old Wayne Jones was indeed attacked". Wayne Jones was struck by an unknown person over the head with and unknown object. This is what the police reports say.
Still, there is lot's of unknowns. Except one thing is for sure.
Wayne Jones was beaten to death in front of his own home and no one wants to call it a homicide.
Organization of the North East (O.N.E.) mouthpiece Sarah Jane Knoy produced this ripe quote for Angela. "We're here to pay out respects and say no more...."
Say no more. It's a circle prayer for god's sakes Ms. Knoy, you didn't say anything? Mrs. Jones, Wayne's wife wasn't even in attendance. Mrs. Jones didn't want to stand hand in hand with your sign holding-political-propaganda prayer.
So tell us the real story.... Who beat Wayne Jones to death Ms. Knoy?
She has got to be covering up something for someone? O.N.E. and Howard Area Community Center's John Fitzgerald (also listed as a member of the 49th ward ZALUC committee) have got to be covering for these "wonderful kids" who beat Mr. Jones to death?
But why?

It seems to me that when this happened there were alot of people around right? Someone had to have seen something. I hope they solve it to- who ever did it should be held accountable.
Re: his senior status
Didn't someone say he was in poor health? Sometimes being on disability can make you "a senior" prematurely. Age is a state of mind after all.
Read between the lines of this story. Why has ONE suddenly popped up to hold a prayer vigil? Why is ONE suddenly there to pay their respect to the victim? Why is Sara Jane Knoy, Executive Director of ONE there to pay her respect yet won't say anything else to the press?
What do ONE and Ceasefire know that they can't or won't say to the press?

The Ceasefire operation in Rogers Park is a program of the Organization of the Northeast, headquartered on Wilson Ave. Ceasefire in Rogers Park has one employee, and that local Ceasefire coordinator is a ONE employee. Ceasefire in Rogers Park is funded by a quarter of a million dollar earmark of State of Illinois money secured by Rep. Osterman.

Thanks again Hugh - what a wonderful resource you are.
BTDT - It's a shame you feel you can't use a local business because of the behavior of what appears to be an unsupervised group of kids hanging out. Sadly, as you point out, Mr. Johnson really didn't have that choice.
