Yesterday I featured Mr. Block's broken elevator. From the appearance today, it looks as if the elevator is fixed. The sticker was removed with-in the last 24 hours.
Good for Mr.Block. That was quick, right? Well not so fast.
As I asked tenants who were leaving the building this morning, how's that fixed elevator? Each and everyone of them answered, "It's still broken!"
Come on Mr. Block, is that all you are going to do is remove the sticker?

Has anyone else noticed the centerfold of a naked woman facing the street on the 2nd floor facing Morse? I called the Management Company and they have done nothing. That building needs to be demolished. Where's a good developer when you need one?
Maybe we should make a list and send to Developers: Please do a community service- and tear this one down!
Paradise- I would like to see Morse Avenue redeveloped too but I see something more along the lines of Southport (but not quite so posh maybe) or Clark Street in Andersonville. The neighborhood is way too dense to add mid-rises with housing. 6 flats with retail ground level would be okay I think. Some of the old facades could be re-exposed- they are hidden beneath the 60's patch jobs as Craig noted with the Morseview Pharmacy when it was leveled.
I agree the storefronts just west of Wayne and strip mall to the east are both eyesores to an extent.
