Can you believe it? It took the destructive forces in Rogers Park less than a week to destroy the newly planted flowers inside the very old planters/garbage cans. Mind you, these weren't the most expensive flowers ever planted. They were planted nonetheless. I took it upon myself the past week to take the trash out of the recently flowered - planter. Until today.
This wasn't the only planter that was targeted. The flowers in the planter on the west side of the EL at Lunt got ripped out too.
The Morse Avenue flowers in their planters have survived, so far. 911 was not called.
Updated: Exclusive photograph. Flowers returned to eastern side planter! (Poorly planted, but returned. Case closed.)
