As you may have heard, a young man was fatally shot in our community at about 1:15 am Saturday, September 23rd.
The victim’s name was Terrance Palmer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. The incident is under investigation and no one was in custody when I spoke with the 24th District Monday afternoon.
The Rogers Park Cease-Fire is planning a vigil for Wednesday September 27th at 6pm. We will meet at the corner of Seeley and Birchwood, where the shooting occurred.
