No one's talking just yet, but word on the street is a person got shot in the left upper thigh on either Christmas eve or Christmas morning near the corner of Chase and Paulina. One neighbor thought he heard firecrackers and another neighbor who didn't want to be identified said, "the coppers were all over the place but I didn't hear nothing."

I was born and raised in RP. Jarvis beach was my back yard, softball games at Loyola Park, baseball games at Potowatami, shopping for school supplies on Morse and hanging out at the 7-11 playing Pacman at the Jarvis L stop. I moved away and am back with my young teenage son. He is not allowed east of Clark, except for school. No where near the L! Was too scared to finish a baseball season at Loyola after a gang fight broke out and wouldn't dream of going near Potowatami. What the hell has Moore done? He knocked at my door one day and asked what I would want changed, I gave ONE simple specific request, he said he would see what he could do...... I see NOTHING but more and more drunks on the street. Liquor stores popping up everywhere. Discusting, I was ready to buy here...considering getting out of here!
Oh wait... I know what he did... NO FOIS GRAS! WOO HOO something to be so proud of.
