* Coe Woes Continue

One of Alderman Moore's Favorite Campaign Contributors Puts Community in Danger - Again & Again!

Open letter to Alderman Moore and the 49th ward ZULAC:

We've been through this more times than I can count. I could put all the endless links to the serious problems Mr. Coe has in building a project on Morse Avenue, but I'm getting tired of that. You've already seen the stories.

What's it going to take for your rubber stamp committee to understand Mr. Coe is bad business for Morse Avenue?

What's it going to take for you guys to understand Mr. Coe is putting the community in harms way in the name of a quick buck?

Just last week Mr. Coe's construction fence blew over or was tampered with and it stayed down for three days. When it got fixed, it was done in such a shoddy manner, it was only a matter of time before it happened again.

Guess what? It did. The construction fence fell down again.

I understand why Alderman Moore turns his back when problems arise. Mr. Coe contributes massive amounts of money to the Alderman and his campaign war-chest. He's got a vested interest in keeping Coe happy and looking the other way.

Plus, with-out Mr. Coe, DevCorp North wouldn't be getting a new office. DevCorp North as you all know, is the Alderman's personal political action committee. One hand washes the other. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. You guys know how it works.
Danger Inside

Stop scratching Alderman Moore's back with your 'rubber stamp'. ZULAC members, take look inside this construction site. Does this look safe for a curious child on his way to school this morning? How about someone who has trouble getting around. Does this look like a safe public walkway?

Does Mr. Coe care? Apparently not. This is the second time this year and the year just started 11 days ago.

In closing - Please put a stop to Mr. Coe before he hurts someone. Tell Alderman Moore to put a stop to Mr. Coe's madness. Have the city start placing fines on Mr. Coe's dangerous mistakes. Pull all his permits until he gets his act together.

And another thing. Will you guys get some backbone and stand up to the Alderman and his pal? Firmly demand Alderman Moore to return all the campaign contributions from the developer (Mr. Coe and his LLC's) and realtor (Mr. Aronson and his LLC's). It makes you guys look bad too. It gives the impression that there's a hint of possible influence.

Signed,

The 'Broken Heart'

I think Mr. Coe is super nice! Have you ever met him? His eyes are almost as cute's as Jay Johnsons.

I wish everyone would stop picking on Joe and just leave Him alone. He's divine.

I think the only thing shady are the trees that will eventually get planted by Mr. Coe. I know Joe said that the office is His ward, and I think you can see this in how concerned He is when fences blow over. He has to walk around them too! Did you ever think of that?

Given Joe's increasing girth, it would appear that he doesn't walk much at all.
