Not that it seems to matter with the Chicago Board of Elections at 69 West Washington, but Alderman Moore again did his best to break every rule in the book the past two days at the early voting senior sites.
Don't get me started that the Alderman lines up the judges tables with his very own judges who are there to praise Alderman Moore's name every-time a senior voter says hello or asks for help. The fix is in from the get-go at these senior homes.
Here he is clearly caught electioneering by a quick thinking poller watcher in this cel phone photograph (exhibit a). Notice as Alderman Moore handshakes and introduces himself with a elderly person who is in a wheelchair.
And get this folks, she's in the private voting booth too. If the Gordon poll-watcher wasn't there to lodge a complaint, the lazy judges would've let Alderman Moore actually vote for the senior.
Alderman Moore violated page 6 - Rule C., 1.) Electioneering includes displays of candidate materials, buttons, or signs, handing out sample ballots or campaign literature, and verbally urging support of, or opposition to, a candidate or proposition.
and Alderman Moore violated Rule 2.) Electioneering is strictly prohibited.
and Alderman Moore violated Rule 5.) The ENTIRE nursing home is considered a polling place at ALL times.
and then to finish it off, the above photograph shows (exhibit b) Alderman Moore violated Rule 6.) The board of elections investigators will place (2) two blue cones will with the words, 'no electioneering beyond this point', at the building entrance as a 'CAMPAIGN FREE ZONE'.
Look at the Alderman's poster, INSIDE the polling place. Inside the blue cones distance. Talk about playing FOUL ball.
Alderman Moore has shown he isn't willing to play by the rules. The judges have shown they aren't willing to enforce the rules. The board of elections has shown it's not willing to stop the rule breaking from Alderman Moore. It's time WE the voting citizens stopped this type of illegal behavior. And we can, Tuesday, April 17th.
