* Marcy Gets Bloggy with a Broken Window and Police Cars

It's blog-contagious. Citizen Marcy (Who's okay with us using her real name) has started to document East Rogers Park through her camera lens - on her blog no less.

It's no wonder we're the number five - bloggiest neighborhood in the country, according to Outside.in. By the end of the year, we may move up to a podium spot if we keep this up.

BLOGNOTES: Don't forget to view some of Citizen Marcy's creative artwork while you're at it too. I think that's her day job?

BLOG-PS. Maybe some of those good news websites in Rogers Park would care to feature spotlight one of our very own, Citizen Marcy, the Artist. Hint-hint.

And by the way, she's got some credentials. Citizen Marcy was the 2007 Community Arts Assistance Program (CAAP) grant award winner from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.

About CAAP: "The Community Arts Assistance Program (CAAP) was created in 1987 through funding provided by the Illinois Arts Council Access Program. The goals of CAAP are to discover, nurture and expand Chicago’s multi-ethnic artists and nonprofit arts organizations; and to foster new and emerging individual artists and arts groups by providing grants for professional, artistic, and organizational development to those who have had limited access to funding in both public and private grants programs."
