* More Shots Fired

Greeting All,
Does anyone have any info about the shooting which occurred about 1:20 AM this morning? The crime scene was reported as 7646 N. Sheridan Rd. One victim was found at Howard & Clark and transported to St. Francis with a gunshot wound to the face. That's all I have from the scanner.
Thanks, Big M.

Craig-

I can't believe you are deleting comments of mine in which I:

1) don't use profanity,
2) don't call people names,
3) rebut others, and
4) question your tactics.

Why don't you set up published rules for the blog? The first one should state "No one can question Craig". I just want you to be open about how you operate.

I heard a helicopter flying very low over the neighborhood at about that time.

I wonder if it was looking for the shooter.

I was woken by a hysterically screaming woman. I guess I slept through the actual shooting. There were already a ton of cop cars along Sheridan Road when her screaming woke me up. The cops had taped off the area from the liquor store on the corner of Rogers, north to the Sargon building. I couldn't see anything else in front of the building from my vantage so I don't know if there was an ambulance there. Some cops were searching the ground inside the taped area near the corner with their flashlights, presumably looking for shell casings. That's all I saw, and she eventually stopped screaming so I went back to sleep. It looked bad, lots of cops.

This is right by me, and it's scary! In the last few weeks, I've also been offered to purchase crack - twice near Eddy's food mart, and neighbor told me how he was offered services from a hooker. Thank god no fau gras in Neighborhood! (sarcasism).

Better get over to the C.A.P.S. meeting to report this suspicious activity. That really helps target trouble areas, or throwing a dart at the 24th district map.

Wow, thanks for the reminder. I forgot. I wish 2423 would do a better job of putting out the info on meetings.
