* Joey the Clown Speaks

On the real powers in Chicago, the aldermen: “There are 50 bosses in Chicago. . . . If you want anything in this city, you go see the alderman. If you want a zoning change, you go see the alderman. If you want a card game going, you go see the alderman. If you want a dice game, you go see the alderman. If he tells you to stop, you stop.” Full Story.

Makes you wonder if the same premise isn't used for the Open Air Drug Markets of Rogers Park?

I don't see the relevance about Rogers Park in this one, or Morse for that matter.....

Again, you bring Rogers PArk into a bad light for nothing it has done, and associate our beloved homes to a worthless mobster.

Very wrong of you Craig, Very wrong.

You don't see the relevance, Dyslexic Satan, because you are blinded by your hatred of Craig.
The point of the article is that the aldermen of Chicago hold all the power. You know, like the power to make a difference in their community. Something that Moore or Less isn't happening in your beloved Rogers Park.

Reminds me of a quote attributed to the current mayor's dad -- "We don't want to see nobody that somebody didn't send." The alderman still work out of the old Machine politics system. Few wield power properly to help their wards.
