I don't get this - if the house was supposed to be torn down a year ago, is it uninhabited, or do those people live there? Would an uninhabited house have an air conditioner in the window? If it is uninhabited, how is the new fence supposed to stop the riff-raff? It doesn't look any different than the old chain-link fence depicted in Craig's first pictures.
I bet coincidence. The fence may be going up in advance of demo work. Developers like to tear down to reduce property taxes. Seems like now is not the greatest of moments to build condos that aren't selling. Were I a gambler, I'd bet tear down with subsequent vacant lot for some time.
Sorry it took me so long to post this comment. As i was walking back to my place with my (i dont like her to walk home from the morse el anymore at night) I saw one of our local police cars pause in front of the house and shine a spot light on every inch of it for a good 3 minutes. This happened about 48 hours after your post about the fence going up.

Yeah, that's what it was, just a coincidence. Pearl, I think we found someone dumber than Wee Wee.
