Not sure of the location, but scanner reports North-Side Power is holding some sort of a "Sleep-out", in regards to a condo conversion and anti-affordable housing in Rogers Park.
This is the same North-Side Power that backed Joe Moore in the last election because he bullshitted the public by saying he was for affordable housing. Joe really pulled a fast one on those suckers.
Blognotes: Police are monitoring the situation, wasting tax dollars - and taking them away from more important duties, like breaking up after school teen fights.
Update - 5:50 PM: Wow! I just got word the "Sleep-out" is none other than the Coe Building at Greenview and Morse. Police were watching the building, but there were no sleepers insight of the site. Not surprising, Rev. Pagan Banks couldn't organize a two person trip to the alter.

A pro-affordable housing protest in the 49th ward? What were they thinking? Doesn't North Side Power know Joe Moore is the leader of the progressive caucus in the Chicago City Council? They would know if they asked him! Why don't they have a slumber party in a luxury condo project in Ike Carothers' ward?
And why pick on Coe? Don't they understand Coe already gave at the office? Coe don't need no affordable housing! Coe is building a new home for DevCorp North, that public charity bastion of progressive values! Coe is helping launder DevCorp North's il-gotten gains from the Howard TIF! Isn't that enough? How will North Side Power help DevCorp North?
Doesn't North Side Power know the battle for affordable housing is over? The affordable housing types declared victory 2 years ago when Daley passed his affordable housing ordinance, they claim it was their bill. Didn't they get the memo? The war is over, you won.
