Alderman Joe Moore has deleted ALL records of his so-called "community" zoning committee from his website. This is just the latest development in Moore's strident attempts to avoid accountability to the constituents he claims to serve.
This latest assault on community participation is in reaction to increased constituent awareness of Moore's total reneging on campaign promises of open and transparent community process in development, and concerns regarding a stealth highly permissive zoning change at the Western edge of Moore's fiefdom, also known as the 49th Ward.
As reported previously here on the "Broken Heart," Moore disbanded his so-called 'community" zoning committee in October, 2007, shortly after securing his re-election. No record exists of any meeting of Moore's so-called "community" zoning committees since October, 2007, over six months ago. Today Moore upped the ante in his rapidly escalating accountability stand-off with his constituents by deleting ALL records of the "community" zoning committee. You can see for yourself. All the links are broken. There's no there there.
A "community" committee that meets in secret, with no meeting notices, no agendas, no posted project details, and no minutes, is no use to anyone except to Moore as a sham.

Joe Moore and his office are one bunch of serious fuck-ups. I'm sure glad I don't support this air-head Alderman.
Moore is working against the citizens of this ward, and is undercutting everything we are trying to accomplish by way of neighbhorhood improvement, fostering appropriate retail and commercial, and reducing crime and social problems, but he sure is not a "fuck up".
Huh-uh. Joe is very, very successful at getting what he wants, which is A)to get elected for a 4th term, despite the proveable harm he has done this ward; b)total lack of transparancy in local governance, C) whatever he wants for himself and his rich contributors in the way of zoning and land use, and D) the grateful support of many mega-rich contributors who do not live here.
Joe is a VERY successful politician. He will probably retain his office as long as he wants it, and he is already guaranteed a high and very secure retirment income from it.
WE THE CITIZENS ARE THE ONES WHO FUCKED UP, by re-electing him. Look how little time it took, post-election, for him to not only revert to business as usual, but to ramp up even more destructive zoning changes than before. He feels very secure in his job, and now fears no one, even though he had a very close call last year.
Post those minutes already Joe. So you or your office have fallen behind updating your site but that's a poor excuse. Your website uses content management system which allows even non-technical staff to make simple updates anytime using your browser.

I have written comments in the past on Graig blog about how the voters of the 49th ward are the "fuck-ups" over voteing for a aldermen how brings out bullshit lies when it is time to get elected as well as makeing promises that joey knows he will not keep! Why does joey do this ? BECAUSE HE CAN!! BECAUSE THE VOTERS ARE THE FUCK-UPS!
So as long as the voters keep voteing joey into office then they can go to sleep each night knowing your makeing joey rich, also joey big buck contributors richer and the 49th ward poorer , by letting joey run the ward down.

joey is just telling you it is, but you fuck up voters know joey is telling the truth, Graig as well as other bloggers are lieing because we have so much to gain by tellin the truth!
Maybe we should ALL write our state reps to show support for the new bill pertaining to the change in rules to allow for recall votes. If it were to pass this may give us the leverage we need with Moore.
All of this makes one ponder the obvious question - what is Joe Moore trying to cover up? this cries out for the immediate attention of the US Attorney. the sooner the Alderliar is sent packing on a one-way trip to Oxford, Terre Haute or Duluth (or some other federal prison), the sooner the 49th Ward can begin to heal from the political cancer that is Joe Moore.

Joe says As Anne Sullivan in my office noted, we have fallen a little behind in posting the minutes of the Committee on our website (the Committee didn't meet in January and Februay). Let's pass the buck too while we're at it. What's the problem? It's not like you need a techie web admin to post it because your site works on CMS. I agree Jocelyn, incompetent or lying.
