Charges Filed in Isiah Stroud Murder

* Montrel Williams, 18, of the 7600 block of North Bosworth Avenue, was charged with murder Tuesday for allegedly fatally stabbing 16-year-old Isiah Stroud.

* Police said the attack might have stemmed from an earlier gang fight. About 6 p.m. Friday, police responded to an alleged gang fight in the 6800 block of North Clark Street. The fight -- about two blocks from Sullivan High School, 6631 N. Bosworth Ave. -- resulted in the stabbing of three alleged gang members, police said.

* Stroud’s mother, Ester Stroud, said her son -- who dropped out of Senn High School and attended DuBois alternative school -- had no gang involvement.

Justice has prevailed. Now the family can have a little closure. I wonder if they are going to charge David or was he just wanted for questioning. Merry Chirstmas Rogers Park.

Interesting that Montrel lived on B-Block.

WTF is going on here?

Kids killing other kids...do they even know the consequences?

DEATH IS FINAL, and FORGET all the jerks who keep whining about what a good man Stroud was, how his mother cared, and all the other BS from bblocki.c.g., B-Block Bam, etc.

GROW EFFIN' UP NOW, cheap little thugs. GET A LIFE, MAKE a life for yourselves! YOU MIGHT LIVE TO BE 70 OR 80!

And you will have forgotten FREAKY and all that money!

DROP the 'gang thing' and WORK to become a RESPECTED MEMBER OF YOUR COMMUNITY!

I'm glad the caught the (alleged) killer and hope he gets everything that coming to him. No matter what I may have said about the victim, I never said his killing was justified or deserved. Hopefully this will be a lesson on both sides of the coin: living that life (or pretending to live that life) will get you one of two things: a coffin or a jail cell.
