That's the official death notice. Here's mine. Lori Alderete was a popular and friendly Rogers Park resident/business owner. Lori and her partner, Phaedra Divras, opened a wonderful place called Gruppo di Amici on Jarvis in June 2006. According to their website, their vision was to have a place to simply bring people together. That they did. Sadly, today, Rogers Park is missing one of it's shining stars. Lori, Rogers Park will miss you.

This is just too sad- a wonderful neighbor and business owner passes at age 44.

My condolences to those who loved her, and I hope that great restaurant carries on.

How sad! I own a boutique across the street but never got to meet them although I wanted to. How did she pass?

My prayers are with her partner and family.
