In other news, the famous morse theatre has new signs on it saying WATCH THIS SPACE, which im pretty sure were put up today, atleast thats when i noticed them.
(hopefully this makes it through the blogosphere filter)
Craig: If the gays show up to shake their booties at the disco, they'll also start buying and fixing up properties and confronting and calling the police on the hoes and gangbangers. Several years hence, Morse will start looking like that stretch of Halsted between Belmont and Addison street. The Morse Theater will wind up as another GLBT Community Center.
With all the funds that went into the acoustics and the sound system, it would be nice, if whoever goes into the space, makes good use of it. Saw an article in Columbia Colleges weekly paper that discussed a gay facebook group which resides in RP ............ so they are already here & change is gonna come. Some has already. Sarge, you make it sound like a bad thing ........... you prefer the gang bangers?
I'm for anything that takes the punks off the street. I see them hanging around at the Greenview corner, blocking the sidewalk with the pants hanging to the ground. I love to walk right through them with the big dogs.

Word is out that a group of gay men will turn the Morse Theater it into a antiques flea market a la the one held on weekends in Kane County.
Geo,
good to hear. I guess. "Watch This Space" might be a trick. While you're looking at the sign, some thug comes up and picks you pocket.
Have I gotten cynical?
I heard it's going to be a gay disco.
