Is Rogers Park ready for Mother Nature's fury?

Strong winds make this "Weeping Willow" at Loyola Park howl in the breeze
On February 2, 2011, Rogers Park got caught off guard by Mother Nature. In the next 36 hours, this question will be asked again.

Will our neighborhood be ravished by Mother Nature?

Will we be prepared?

What are your plans for "Hurricane Sandy?"

Breeze my ass. I tried to walk to the end of the pier tonight and was nearly blown into the lake. The water is almost to the top of the walkway.

If we're on the edge of the storm I'd hate to be on the east coast right now. Hope everyone is safe????

Aaargh. Rogers Park is a tough bunch of vagabonds, mercenaries, pirates and ruffians. I've already seen two Ford pickup trucks, an assortment of stray cats, dogs and snobs from Evanston blow my my window. Har, har, har. We'll ride it out and get on with our pillaging and plundering when the wind dies down.

Craig, Awesome photo. I love that tree. We're going to the pier later tonight. Hope it's not underwater.

I'm staying in the basement and masturbating all day. I hope my mom doesn't come down and catch me or I will be grounded for life. She caught me 4 times all ready. She told me if she catches me again I'll be thrown out of the basement for good.

RPSTROKER don't be ashamed! Craig G. does it all the time in his basement whenever Jen C isn't around to milk him. Oh wait he doesn't have a basement. He just masturbates all over the internet.

Please stop this thread. I just lost my appetite and will never be able to look at Craig or Jen the same way again.
