Open Letter to Morse Theatre

To the owners of the Morse Theatre,

Twice I've emailed you this week to remove my blog from your list of neighborhood blogs. Twice you've ignored my request. I know after reading this you'll claim you've been busy and couldn't get back to me in a timely fashion. That's not going to fly. You had no problem getting back to me in a timely fashion when I saved your precious theatre from possibly thousands and thousands of dollars in extra fire damage.

Again, I ask kindly you remove my blog from your website blog list. It's the least you could do for me saving your ass in time of need.

Signed,

The 'Broken Heart' of Rogers Park

Good old Craig at his passive-aggresive finest!

When there are no dog poop piles he can photograph, Craig needs some other reason to stir up shit in RP!

I'm confused- do you not want to be associated with anything remotely positive that is going on with Rogers Park or is this driven by sheer politics? Do you not want to see improvements and positive contributions to the community because you would run out of things to bitch and complain about?

You say you want this to be a better neighborhood, but some of these posts make me find that hard to believe. Tell me if I'm wrong, but I'm just not seeing what solutions you're willing to provide and contribute to making this neighborhood a better place. If this is really such a horrible place to live, why do you continue to live here- why haven't you moved to Evanston or the suburbs or another cushy part of Chicago? I just don't get it.

Mannis threw himself into a tizzy about being removed from the Morse Blogroll, and then being added back again with a whole slew of other blogs, which lowered his visiblity.

I guess Craig wants to show solidarity with RP's no 1 hateblogger.

Expect to see a posting on the Hellhole in a few months announcing a boycott of the Morse Theatre.

Craig is silly that way.

Ack! Stop it!

Poor Andy (or whoever does the theater website, I doubt it's Andy), I guess he was trying to be fair and instead pissed off others. He should probably take off the entire list of RP blogs.

Broken Heart is my favorite blog. I can hardly stand to read the Two Tom blogs. Both contain nuggets of truth, but often end up as mere twisters of reality. I wish Mannis, would keep two separate blogs, one for Rogers Park issues and one for everything else (e.g., national politics). I can't stomach reading support of McCain/Palin.

(Speaking of "Ack!")

You must also be voting for McCain based on his wise selection of Sarah Palin as Republican vice president nominee.

Groan. Did you really just post "how dare they link to me!"? Are you 4 years old?

What the gripe with the Morse Theatre? Looks like a great addition to the neighborhood!

Wow! Craig expresses a bit of irritation because his request to the Morse Thestre has been ignored, and everybody jumps all over him! WOW, again! Your comments tend toward Hatred, pettiness, etc. Perhaps that was the thing on his mind when he posted this AM.

In the meantime, many days (and nights) during the year, he is informing you twits of crimes being committed in your areas, which many of you ignore, because it's not "politically correct" to concern yourselves with anything BUT yourselves.

I've also requested to be removed from Charlie's lame site long ago. The schmuck won't honor my request.

Why I don't care to be linked on these sites are simple. They also promote sites I object to. As silly as my conviction is to the matter, I don't want to be associated with those objectionable sites.

And Charlie, the least you could do if you want to promote me is run the Sun-Times article proclaiming me one of the 50 people who make Chicago a better place. Look forward to seeing that on your site!

Blah blah blah, anonymous shill Grammar suddenly thinks he/she has a good grasp of what we "ignore" and our "political correctness." File under "couldn't care less." Oh noes, somebody hiding behind a blog called us "twits."

Some of these other sites on the Morse Theater website- do you object to them only because they don't share the same viewpoint or political leanings as you? I've started reading most of the blogs posted on the list since I've moved to the neighborhood, and after checking out the rest of the ones on the list I hadn't been to before, I fail to find what is so objectionable about any of these sites (unless maybe someone is a cat person and doesn't like the Rogers Park Dog site), unless one finds people giving differing opinions offensive.

My personal take from the post is that there's possibly a bit of "sour grapes" going on- from some of the previous posts, I got the sense that you were a proponent of the Morse Theater. I'm just wondering why all of a sudden the complete 360?

And, as an aside, what's up with the name-calling and put-downs? "Twit"? How does that aid in trying to make an intelligent, competent argument? Name-calling and put-downs make people sound like fifth-graders in a fight. All that's missing is the spitballs.

This all reminds me of a song from Peter Pan:

Never grow up,
Never grow up,
Never grow uh up,
Not me!!

Why would anyone honor any of our requests Craig?

We're lying scumbuckets - and bash the owners of the theater and Charlie on a regular basis!

well, isn't this interesting - I would think you would want your blog associated with The Morse Theatre. As a McCain backer - it looks like I better head right over there! LOL

Razldazlrr said...

Oh sorry - can I get the web address for The Morse Theatre blog? LOL

IrishPirate said...

The Sun Times should do a new article: The 50 Assholes who Make Chicago a better place. You are amusing and informative sometimes Craigie, but you really need to get laid more often.

Get over yourself Craig. If they want to post a link to your blog on their site there ain't shit you can do about it, except whine like the little man-bitch you sometimes act like.

How about Joe "I so badly want to be a congressbitch" Moore demands you take down some of your stories or links. You would rightfully tell him to go fuck himself. God knows no one else including self respecting crack whores would want to fuck him.

Chill out. Have a beer. It's a glorious night head out and film some crime. Bring a five dollar bill with you. Maybe you will run into some politician and can pay them for a little head.

Razldazlrr said...

irishpirate - what a childish response - that really was obnoxious and offered nothing of significant value

IrishPirate said...

Thanks Razzl,

I tried.

Perhaps I could pay you five dollars for some head?

Nah, probably more than you are used to getting. I wouldn't want to spoil you.

Razldazlrr said...

Irish - You are obviously just here to be rude - what a waste of time - you can't possibly think I care what someone of your character says? LOL
Anyhow - I found the website for Morse - looks like the place is going to be great - I hope they can keep the "trash" off the street

Al Iverson said...

Yeah, I can't wait until it opens. I'm excited. I'm debating whether or not to buy tickets for a show or two now, or wait and play it by ear.
