* 49th Ward Cover-Up
Why are all the 49th ward democrats afraid to show their face today? Are they skipping work? Taking a sick day? Or working on company (taxpayer) time?
This is Craig Berryhill with his trusty bodyguard. He controls the signage north of Howard. Here he is hiding from the camera - as he's less than 30 feet from the entrance of Gale School at Jonquil and Ashland. If he's electioneering, that's illegal. It's precinct 30 and there is 519 registered voters.
We'll keep tabs on Mr. Berryhill throughout the day for your viewing pleasure. You'll never know what Mr. Berryhill will try unless you keep an eye on him?

If the guy works for Dorothy Brown, he had the day off anyway. The courts were closed Tuesday for the General Election (after all, you had nealy 70 Circuit Court Judges running on the Retention Ballot), so the employees of the Clerk of the Circuit Court got Tuesday as a legal holiday.
As for electioneering, remember the law prohibits electioneering within 100 feet of the entrance of the room where voting is taking place. I'm not sure about the layout at Gale, but at many schools that serve as polling places, you have to go down a significant length of hallway before reaching the polling place room. This means that it might be legal at Gale to stand literally at that front door and still be at least 100 feet from the polling place entrance.
I concur with the assessment that he, like the other Moore lackeys, are disgraces to the human race in general and to their community in particular. But one has to make sure that he is inside that 100-foot zone and is electioneering (not just standing there chatting to his cohort about the Bears or the weather). You don't want to give him any wiggle room.

Randall:
There are three precincts in the auditorium at Gale School. The cones were discovered and set up at 12:40pm. Mr. B came in late in the day with his blue slip as a 'pollwatcher'. The wiggle room was pushed outside the cones this election. There were people obtaining signatures for the upcoming 2/07 election within the cones from time to time. One claimed it was OK, does anyone know? campaigning is campaigning isn't it?
