* Rider Building Tenant Fly-Dumps
Light blogging today. We have lots of stories below that are still in play. Go read some of the comments and see what interests you.
* Two candidates still haven't done their essays on the Special Service Area Tax levy #24 meeting yet. Actually all three didn't, one just brought a notice of absence.
* CAPS still has us twisted and confused with 'index and non index' crimes.
* Alderman Moore campaign contributions for zoning changes buddy Mr. Coe is continuing to show 'gross incompetence' when it comes to building DevCorp North a home. Not to mention Mr. Coe yanked his CPAN units from the deal. Only the poor suffer, while Alderman Moore and Mr. Coe smile all the way to the bank.
* Speaking of smiling. Alderman Moore just sent out his 'community newsletter.' If you believe all the things Alderman Moore has accomplished in his newsletter, you'd believe him if he told you he invented aspirin.
* And speaking of 'gross incompetence' and head-ache's. I can't tell you how much my head hurts, everything I see Alderman Moore's face on the news. 'Politcally grandstanding' about stopping something that he has zero control of it's outcome. Meaning - meaningless issues outside the 49th ward.
Today blog: I said this was light blogging. OK, our photographs above are in regards to a slight problem one of my neighbors (we'll call her Sandy) is having with the Rider Building. It's called 'down-spout dumping'! The tenants in 407 (yes we know the name of the tenants), seem to have a issue with using the Rider building dumpsters on their own property. You know the one's, right? It's the dumpsters that get picked-up at 4 in the morning.
Well, these neighbors that live in the 1345 West Lunt building always throw their bag of trash next to a down-spout in the alleyway, next to our building. Sandy has had enough of this. She had to make a little warning sign. Still, that didn't bother these fly-dumpers. They continued. I've picked their garbage up a couple of times myself.
In conclusion. My neighbor 'Sandy' (not her real name) is tired of cleaning up after these fly-dumpers in 407. She's got two son's of her own to pick up after. I told her to address the Alderman's office with this issue, but to make sure he gets it - I told her I'd post the information here too.
Blognotes: It's light blognotes Saturday too. I'll have a conclusion to the early morning Rider garbage pick-up tomorrow.

Around the corner from me last year someone was leaving big bags of trash at the bus stop. I put a sign there and soon after it stopped. I don't know if they got the message or moved away, but it seemed to do the trick.
