Quote of the Week Still Goes Unanswered

On February 16th, Joe Moore sent out an email poof sincerely offering to mediate and inform.

{Ha-ha.} At first we thought it was a joke or something. Take a read, will you?
"I will continue to keep you informed of any new developments...." Sincerely, Joe Moore.
It's clear to everyone now, this was hilarious joke pulled on the foolish sheeps who reside in the 49th ward, by Mr. Alder-joker himself.

{Hee-hee.} Isn't it funny? It's been 5 days now -- and there's been major changes made to the hours of operation with food service. On top of that, we find out on the blogs it is closing on the 7th of March.

{Ha-ha.} Joe must think this is a practical joke? Because we still haven't heard a single mention from the Alderman's crack email poof team. Did they lose the "send key" on their computers in the last 5 days?

{Snicker-snicker.} Was Joe Moore really sincere when he said he would keep us informed of any new developments in his last email poof? Or was he pulling a lying Roland Burris? Cause he's sure acting like the unbelievable junior Senator from the corrupt state of Illinois. {Giggle-giggle.}

My guess is that the Morse ownership and management issued a polite "no thanks" to Joe's offer to get involved.

Given the extent to which he has screwed up his own ward, why would anyone think he has anything of value to offer a real business?

Yeah, I was giving him the benefit of a doubt, but it does look like he has hit the snooze button for a few days now.

If you're going to tell bad jokes, please add this to the ending.

Nice cymbal crash, Craig!

And Joe Moore's SILENCE, to over-use the phrase, IS DEAFENING.

MEDIATOR? Come on, folks!

Consider EVERYTHING Joe has done for you in almost 18 years.

VOTE FOR RECALL, VOTE FOR TERM LIMITS, as if the asterisks in Chicago would EVER APPROVE!

Alder-Joker is a lame character created by a bitter person with too much time on her hands.

But great post anyway.

I'm sure if the news was good - Joe would be taking credit.

I guess the theater closing on March 7 doesn't qualify as a "new development" for Joe Moore. Of course, the only "new development" Joe cares about are the brick-and-mortar kind. With those, you can get some campaign dough. No more dough for Joe involved with the Morse Theatre, so why should he care? The Morse's "useful idiot" partners are no longer useful.
