* Paid to do Nothing - Workers Find Out They're Being Filmed

Fargo Woman said...> "Oh, I get it - they knew the film was rolling but no one said, "ACTION!" yet. Right?"

Yep, Bill got busted. My trusty spy got caught red-handed filming these three lazy ass city workers. The jig was up.

All I can say is Fargo Lady was right. Once these do-nothings found out they were being filmed, then the ACTION began. Only then did they decide it was time to work. Shortly there-after, the job was finished. Just like magic.

I can imagine the conversation, as the lazy city employed slacker got back to tell his other slacker buddies what was going on across the street. I'm guessing it went something like this.

Nosy, Do-Nothing Worker One: "Hey, that neighbor over there is filming us with a camera"...

Lazy-Lazy Worker Two: "Maybe we should go over and kick his ass and take the tapes away?"

Lollygagging Worker Three: "I dunno... We could get in big trouble for that. Maybe someone's filming him - film us?"

Nosy, Do-Nothing Worker One: Hell, it's Friday, we've been fuckin' around here a week already - let's just hurry the fuck up and do this shitty job and get out of the Hell Hole!"

Lazy-Lazy, Lollygagging Workers Two and Three: "Yeah... Okay... We'll go screw off somewhere else next week."

BLOGNOTES: Some mutt named Jeffery said...>" He could risk losing his union card which = losing his JOB if he does any work or touches any tool that is not approved by his local. "

Jeff left this in the comments yesterday. Funny thing, he mentions touching any tool, losing his job. Watch this video closely. When they get busted for not working, one dude try's to get back to the hole in what they consider a rush - but he trips over a rake. Under those rules, the guy should lose his job for that.

Paid to do Nothing - Part 1
Paid to do Nothing - Part 2
Paid to do Nothing - Part 3

Maybe it's because they knew I had a eye on them, this job took only one day to start and FINISH. Hilarious.

TOO BAD THE ALDERMAN'S OFFICE CAN'T BE SKOOKED UP LIKE THIS OR DOES IT TAKE POLITICAL DONATIONS-

There have been numerous stings busting city workers before, yet this behavior continues. It's not just here, but all over the city.

Ha-ha Typical white privilege comments here. People upset with NEW sidewalks. Go to the Westside or Southside where they're lucky if they can even get approved for a new sidewalk. And u guys bitch over a few weeks. I am proud of U. Pat yourselves on the back. Nothing like ranting on the internet instead of trying to be proactive.

I think it's clear that this project of videotaping the city workers did turn out to be pro-active.

Bill and Craig, thank you for doing the community a real service by reporting this in the first place and staying on top of it. Bill, did you feel your personal safety was in question when he approached you? You sound on the film like you were far calmer than I would have been in your situation. Good job, gentlemen, and that's more than will ever be said about those particular city employees.
- PEACE -

I was aware that I could of had the snot beat out of me. But, freaking out only makes everything worse.

It's not only wild animals that can smell fear, so I just chill out and deal with what I get appropriately.

It needed to be done, so that's what I did.
